These beautiful brass earrings are made from an antique barrette I acquired from an antique store in Savannah, Georgia. The barrette had three of these scrolls joined together. I cut them apart and repurposed two - adding french ear wires and a petite dangle of Lapis Lazuli and Czech glass brass tone beads. I finished them with a little patina to keep the authentic antique look. They're a lovely accent to any casual outfit.
Materials: Brass, Lapis Lazuli, Czech Glass.
Measurements: From the top of the ear wire to the bottom is 2 5/8"L x 1 1/4"W.
Jewelry Care: To preserve the patina, avoid immersing them in water or getting hand/body lotion on them. As with most metals, over time the earrings will tarnish due to body oils. They can be polished with any jewelry cloth. Just take care to only polish the raised areas, as the cloth will remove the tarnish. To prevent oxidation, I recommend keeping them stored in a plastic bag.
Shipping: Your one-of-a-kind earrings are available and ship within three business days. They ship in a sturdy box, along with a pretty cool decorative package, suitable for gift-giving. Please see Shipping Policy below for more details.
