This is a beautiful Marra Mamba speciman. As you'll see in the video, it has warm, stunning flashes of golds, chocolate browns and copper. What is super cool about this piece is the "bezel" it is set in. I picked up this oxidized brass ring at a vintage flea market. I have no idea what it was used for originally but thought it would make a really unique bezel for the right stone. So I chose to cut a Marra Mamba to fit my unique bezel. I think I really hit the mark - colors and flash of the stone perfectly complement the statement setting. I backed it with copper and a handmade brass bail.

Measurements: The pendant is 1 7/8" long x 1 5/8" wide from the top of the bail to the bottom. The oxidized brass chain is 19" long with a lobster clasp.
 
Jewelry Care: To preserve the patina, avoid immersing it in water or getting hand/body lotion on it. As with most metals, over time the necklace will tarnish due to body oils. It can be polished with any jewelry cloth. Just take care to only polish the raised areas, as the cloth will remove the patina. To preserve the patina, I recommend keeping it stored in a plastic bag.
