This lovely sterling silver necklace was so much fun to make. I used a really cool triangle texture plate for the initial pattern. Then I thought how unique it would be to randomly layer some of the triangles and put a high polish on the raised ones. I also applied a patina to make the pattern stand out. I couldn't let this one go without a pop of color so I tube-set a rose cut Lapis Lazuli in the lower corner and added a kitschy chain link with Lapis beads on each side. The clasp is a hook and loop on the top of the pendant. It's a stunner!
Materials: Sterling silver, Lapis Lazuli.
Measurements: The silver chain is 17" long. The pendant is 2" wide x 1" high.
Jewelry Care: To preserve the patina, avoid immersing it in water or getting hand/body lotion on it. As with most metals, over time the necklace will tarnish due to body oils. It can be polished with any jewelry cloth. Just take care to only polish the raised areas, as the cloth will remove the patina. To preserve the patina, I recommend keeping it stored in a plastic bag.
Shipping: Your one-of-a-kind piece is available and ships within three business days. It ships in a sturdy box, along with a pretty cool decorative package, suitable for gift-giving. Please see Shipping Policy below for more details.
