This fabulous pair of turquoise earrings are a true work of art. I acquired these original Native American-made earrings from a vintage antique store in Albuquerque, NM. They were such eye-catchers that I couldn't resist. The detailed workmanship is amazing. The turquoise is set in oxidized sterling silver. The were clip-on earrings when I acquired them, so I removed the ear clips and put them on my handmade sterling silver french wires. I'm having a hard time parting with these beauties!
 
Materials: Turquoise, sterling silver.
 
Measurements: Each starburst is 35mm in diameter. They hang at 43mm including the french wire. 
 
Jewelry Care: To preserve the patina, avoid immersing them in water or getting hand/body lotion on them. As with most metals, over time the earrings will tarnish due to body oils. They can be polished with any jewelry cloth. Just take care to only polish the raised areas, as the cloth will remove the tarnish. To prevent oxidation, I recommend keeping them stored in a plastic bag.
